Flora Mace & Joey Kirkpatrick
A Tree is a Kind of Big Flower
January 10 - March 11, 2015
Exhibition Date: January 10 - March 11, 2015
Reception Date: Saturday, January 10, 2015 - 2pm
A Tree Is a Kind of Big Flower presents botanical sculptures and sensitive casein paintings that pay homage to these artists’ deep reverence for the outside world. By capturing the essence of a flower or a tree stump, Kirkpatrick and Mace invite the viewer to witness the elegance of a tiger lily or the husky texture of moss-covered bark.
